Coming from a very non-traditional educational background, earning a Graphic Design + Science Psychology degree at Portland State University, Kristen, founder of Rogue Raven Studio, ventured out as a freelance designer, determined to forage her own path in the design and marketing industry.

Kristen started not one, but two businesses under the umbrella of Sugar Spruce Company and single handedly managed both graphic design clients and custom baking clients simultaneously. To most, the connections between design and baking came as a surprise, but the success did not. Both companies took off in the blink of an eye, but after 6 years of running both full time, and a life changing move to her hometown, Bozeman, Montana—she decided putting all her effort into a design studio was most important.

Her personal approach is defined as “beyond the cookie cutter, way out of the box”, and has proven to be highly successful and lucrative by countless clients along the way. With over 15 years of personal and professional business, design and marketing experience, Kristen offers a “like-family” type of working relationship while offering a robust service selection. Prioritizing long term relationships and a dominating style of work execution that maximizes company profitability and production.

Rogue Raven Studio is now in Bend, Oregon, providing exclusive quality branding identity systems, effective social marketing strategies, full range print and web design and business coaching, around the world. While small start-ups and well-known global brands may operate at different intensities, their strategies and visual graphic needs are essentially the same.
